Happy first day of Autumn! I am so happy to be back behind this computer. We'll talk more about that later... But for today, I want to imagine that I am sitting outside on my patio with the cool, crisp breeze of Autumn blowing through my hair. Here in Phoenix there is no immediate relief from the summer heat. So what do we do? We imagine that the change of season has arrived and we carry on as if it's not 100 degrees outside! Crazy but we do.
For me, nothing reflects a change of season like the makeup we wear. I personally love fall because the rich and warm hues it brings. Cranberry, carmel, cinnamon, pumpkin -- all makeup colors that work with so many different skintones and eye colors. I hope you enjoy this makeup tutorial! It got me so excited for fall when I put togther my Lovely Autumn List. I hope you are bold and add some new fall colors to your makeup wardrobe. Remember, makeup doesn't always have to be super expensive. All that matters is it works and looks good on you! I was excited to use the Maybelline The Nudes eyeshadow palette. The color payoff isn't like Urban Decay's Naked Palettes, but that's to be expected at this price point. I purchased it at Walgreens for only $9.99 and find myself reaching for it almost everyday. Oh, and before you go cute boot shopping, promise me you'll swing by MAC and try Dubonnet lipstick. It's one of my all time favorite cranberry-colored lipsticks! Let the lovely leaves start to fall and the weather cool!
